The Yn Droghad Lodge

Grand Charity Pig Race.

Bro Ronnie Crowe ROH has passed on the results of the Yn Droghad Lodge Grand Charity Pig Race held before Christmas which raised a total of £950. £300 of that total was passed to the Glen Glades Charities. The remaining £650 added to the Lodges charity fund allowing the lodge to donate £500 to the Praxis ( Isle of Man ). and a further £500 to Oskers Dream. This is a grand total of £1300 to local charities in the year 2009.   This is not with standing there help and donations to other Lodges on the Isle of Man including the Knights Chapter who with there help raised £5500 for the Hospital. Not the largest Lodge but showing they have one of the largest Hearts for those in need on the Island.

All monies have now been passed to the charities.  

This year they have chosen "Wish Upon A Dream" another local charity.
