Grand Charity Pig Race.

Bro Ronnie Crowe ROH has passed on the results of the Yn Droghad Lodge Grand Charity Pig Race held before Christmas which raised a total of £950. £300 of that total was passed to the Glen Glades Charities. The remaining £650 added to the Lodges charity fund allowing the lodge to donate £500 to the Praxis ( Isle of Man ). and a further £500 to Oskers Dream. This is a grand total of £1300 to local charities in the year 2009. This is not with standing there help and donations to other Lodges on the Isle of Man including the Knights Chapter who with there help raised £5500 for the Hospital. Not the largest Lodge but showing they have one of the largest Hearts for those in need on the Island.

All monies have now been passed to the charities.

This year they have chosen "Wish Upon A Dream" another local charity.

Lets all support the wonderful work which the Yn Droghad Lodge is carrying out Thanks to Ronnie Crow for passing on this information.

Last Days of Grand Hospital Draw

We are now in the closing days of our Grand Hospital Draw and have two more big pushes to enhance our takings. The first is Friday the 3ed June at Shoprite and then again at Shoprite on Sunday the 5th of June. We need your help to make this the most successful Raffle the Order has done in many years. If you can spare a few hours on either of those days contact myself ( Bro Denis ) at 675204 or Bro Dave

This is a very important Buff undertaking and will bring us into good favour with those who don't know of us. If you can't help out then why not sell a few tickets to your friends and those in the Bar at your local, or even have some friend take a few to their place of work. Ticket are only £1 and its a great cause.

Remember the draw is on Saturday the 11th of July just two weeks away. Make a point of putting the date in your Diary and support the Order.

On the night we will be having Music and a Buffet as well as the main Lottery Draw.

Please join us and make it a night we can be proud off.
