The Lady Isabella Autumn Trip to England 2008
Lodge members leave Douglas for Heysham on Thursday the 11th September. On route to visit the Wrekin Lodge 7138 at lunch and to proceed to Lunch, however due to the changes in the sailings we will not arrive at Telford till about 3pm. The Wrekin Lodge will open on our arrival (Wrekin lodge Queens Hotel Finger Rd Dawley TF4 3JX ) A hotel has been arranged for us, with 4 double rooms by Howell. Thursday evening we visit the Ironbridge Lodge 10197 in the Crown Hotel in Ironbridge Telford at 8pm
(Ironbridge lodge Abbey club,Telford TF8 7BP ) Friday morning Howell has offered to take us around the local museum before we proceed north to Bootle. Dave Roberts from Wallasey arranged a Hotel from Friday to Monday for us at a good rate. HOT NEWS Brother Wealthy has offered to accommodate 6 members for the weekend ( Saving the lodge a vast amount of MONEY ) Friday evening we visit the Pride of Bootle Lodge 1647
(Pride of Bootle lodge, Seaforth Social Club School lane Seaforth L21 3TQ Home made supper is being laid on. ) Lunch time Saturday the Ben-my Chree lodge is open for those who wish to visit it or visit the Maritime Museum. Saturday evening we visit the Top Locks Lodge 10472 in Runcorn ( its club is good for a bit of entertainment) Runcorn Club, 78 High St Runcorn Sunday in the Wallasey & Birkenhead Provinces, Lunch time the William Carmody Lodge 10511 Wallasey Club, 86/88 Liscard Rd Wallasey Sunday evening visit the Muir Wellington Lodge 5683 ( to be confirmed ) Finishing our evening in the RAOB club with Bingo and entertainment of some sort ???? Monday we have all day to prepare to return to the Island and visit Liverpool Docks and to do a little shopping. The boat leaves Liverpool for the Isle of Man at 1900 to arrive at 2130 It only goes to say Thank You to those who have made this Trip possible, and with a special thanks to Brothers Howell, Brother Dave Roberts and Brother Wealthy who have arranged our accommodation for our trip and a lot more: - THANK YOU Brothers Tags:
