Primo's Appeal

An evening of Pig Racing is to be held 28th of August 2010 at the RAOB Club Derby Road Ramsey. with all proceeds being split between PGP's appeal and The Southern Befrienders ( thier pigs )

Everyone is cordially invited to what should be a great evening of fun for all.

Everyone are invited also to sponsor the races.

Name a Pig - £3 ( now that could be a lot of fun )

Train a Pig - £3 ( now think of that one )

Own a Pig - £3 ( and all the Bacon sarnies afterwards )

On top of all the Fun there will be prizes for the Pig, Owner and Trainer in each of the six races.

As well as all Lodge support it is hoped that local traders will also join in and support the evening with prizes.

Should you be mad enough to want to make it a realy enjoyable evening, why not sponsor in any way you want to make this a very successful evening.

Untimely Death of Bro Fred Skelding

It was with a deep regret we had to report the sudden Death of our own Bro Fred Skelding R.O.H. PPGP 1977, PGSEC Isle of Man Province, Sec Isle of Man Knights Chapter 176 and Lodge Sec to the Lady Isabella Lodge 10017 in the New Inn, Laxey. It can be seen on his workload alone the passion he held for the order. But add to that his kindness to all and his compassion, one begins to get the picture of the Man who to those who knew him would call him a true and worthy Buff. I on a personal note, shall remember Fred puffing into my home to visit me during one of my recent illnesses, even though his own health was very suspect, or with some business which we were involved. Brother Fred Skelding R.O.H. all those who were touched by you are going to miss you, but look forward to joining you in the Grand Link Above and no doubt have to visit you as secretary to sign the registration book. Rest in Peace
